Family Fun!

You may be wondering what exactly we do when neither of us have jobs, school, or any major responsibilities.  It may seem hard to fill 24 hours with meaningful activities, but honestly, we keep pretty "busy."  We generally sleep till one of us wakes up and then we talk about what we want to do that day, who we are going to try and convert (haha), etc.  for about an hour.  Then we eat breakfast, watch "Chopped," go on a walk/exercise, read scriptures, and then I study for the NCLEX while Sean tries not to distract me (I generally get about 5 minutes of good study in at a time.) After that, the day is filled with whatever we want! At first we felt guilty for just playing ALL of the time.  Then we realized that we would never have this time back.  Once Sean starts med school and I start my job in a few weeks, our time together will slowly decrease.  So we decided to just enjoy and love the time that we have together by making everyday an adventure!  We spend as much time together as possible, which isn't hard because the only thing that pulls us apart is the one hour of Relief Society/Priesthood we have on Sundays; which we were just called to serve in the Primary together, so we get one extra hour together!

Kendall and Sean having fun taking apart the car...and I got to learn to change a tire out of it!  Such men.

The Brothers deciding if they want to boogie board...

They were convinced. Sean was a little scared and had to "hold it in." That or he has a wedgie...I'm not sure?

The wives cheering on their husbands...

Ummm.......

We make up a lot of recipes with our spare time...this happens to be humus.

What to do on a Sunday when you need some last minute tortillas...?

I married a chef. Or so he thinks :)

Sean made these for me while I was at my five hour Shriners interview.  We don't own tape so he used chewing gum.  :) I LOVE him!

Our car is a Texas resident before me! And...this sticker cost us $50!

Went and walked around campus. Future Dr. Stout right here!  I'm so proud of him!

Went on a walk. Sean got pooped on by a grackle. He was mad...I  found it quite HILARIOUS!

Sean's I-pod randomly woke up thinking that it was March 1, 1970?

Local rec center that our friends told us about...we got our free membership today!

Sean said he had 10 shots to make a half court shot. 42 shots later  he finally made it. He wants me to add in that it was a swoosh so it was worth it. It was also past half court.

Our sand castle turned into the Galveston Temple. :)

Random trip to the beach...why not?

Sean's sensitive little feet couldn't take the heat...

Finally found some relief standing on a towel at the car!

  1. The same thing happens in our house... when I need to study (or do something productive for work or church), the whole time Kendall is thinking about what we can do and asking me questions and being restless. When he has to study, the house is like a dark quite grave yard, undisturbed.

Hint: Keep him thinking he is a chef because you'll get more meals cooked by him that way in the long run. It is a blessing. :)

We love coming to visit you!
