Our celebration began the night before at a park accompanied by the beautiful sunset |
We watched the sun go down...and so we had to watch it come back up! I'm not sure if Sean appreciated the alarm clock going off at 6am? |
Looks like Sean started a little early with the bubbly? |
And so did I... |
The early morning was so worth it! |
We were a bit tired... |
After watching the sunrise...we decided to tour our own town and visit the state park |
Sean retrieved this hat out of the lake for our Asian tourist friends, what a good Samaritan! |
Texas has pink birds (Roseate spoonbill to be precise) who knew?! |
The birds are probably pink because of the shrimp. The only shrimp we saw were dead unfortunately |
"Two paths diverged in a wood. And I, I took the one less traveled by. And it hurt man!"-Kid President (YouTube it) |
Nothing like lunch meat, mustard, and dry bread to satisfy the hiker's hunger |
The dentist says the swelling should go down soon! |
Luckily for me, the Park City marathon was filled with pine cones instead of cactus. |
After a spectacular morning and a wonderful day, we finished off with this baby! Literally, we almost finished this. |
Fun! I must say, your trifles look a lot prettier than mine do and I'm not sure a pine cone was much better than a cactus would have been ;)
ReplyDeleteLooks like it was a perfect day. I think dad and I spent our one month anniversary working. You did much better.
