Livin' the Dream

As the weather has been warming up (lets be honest here...it never really got cold here in Galveston) we have been having so much fun enjoying the island air! When we first moved to Galveston, I wondered if it would ever feel like home, and now I couldn't imagine living somewhere else at this time in our lives. We love it here! I was telling Sean a few days ago that life is totally exceeding all of my expectations at the moment. I LOVE being a stay at home mom, I like living in our small apartment, I enjoy watching Sean learn and become a doctor, and I really could not ask for anything better than what we have right now. Life is kind of like a roller coaster, with lots of ups and downs; we are definitely on an up right now. Now...if someone could just tell Corbin how wonderful sleeping through the night is, we would be set for life! haha.

This guy is such a ladies man! Every time I take him shopping...it takes forever because all the women have to come and meet him :)

Aw...such a perfect picture. I love these boys more than I ever thought possible!

I tried to study at the park...I got no studying done though. Corbin was having so much fun exploring and I couldn't not enjoy it with him.

So...since birth this kid has always had his legs crossed. That's probably why he is a little slow when is comes to mobility.

And he always wedges his foot right in between his big toe and all the other toes.

Just another day at the park with my buddy.

I took this from the car window as I was stopped at a light on my way to Kroger. The picture does no justice, the beach was beautiful! I realized that I actually do live in the Gulf of Mexico. haha

Just chilling with his feet on the table. Typical Corbin.

Corbin's "first time" at the aquarium. He actually is old enough to enjoy it now and he LOVED the turtles and the penguins. We were the only ones there and it was a blast!

The crawling stance....now only if he could coordinate his arms and legs to work together we might be getting somewhere.

All I have to do is bring the vacuum into sight...and the water works begin.
Watching Sean read stories with Corbin is one of the highlights to my day. If I only knew the joy I would receive from marriage and children when I was a single student planning out my cat lady life...

My jogging partner :)

Moody Gardens for the win. While the rest of Galveston was partying at the Mardi Gras parade, we decided to have some quiet family time.

Pizza picnic and a view. Best Mardi Gras so far :)
