¡Un Mes!

On Monday, May 27th, we celebrated our one month "anniversary." We realize that one month isn't that long considering how many more wonderful months we will spend together...but we find all reasons to celebrate!
Our celebration began the night before at a park accompanied by the beautiful sunset

We watched the sun go down...and so we had to watch it come back up! I'm not sure if Sean appreciated the alarm clock going off at 6am?

Looks like Sean started a little early with the bubbly?

And so did I...

The early morning was so worth it!

We were a bit tired...

After watching the sunrise...we decided to tour our own town and visit the state park

Sean retrieved this hat out of the lake for our Asian tourist friends, what a good Samaritan!

Texas has pink birds (Roseate spoonbill to be precise) who knew?!
The birds are probably pink because of the shrimp.  The only shrimp we saw were dead unfortunately

"Two paths diverged in a wood. And I, I took the one less traveled by. And it hurt man!"-Kid President (YouTube it)

Nothing like lunch meat, mustard, and dry bread to satisfy the hiker's hunger

The dentist says the swelling should go down soon!

Luckily for me, the Park City marathon was filled with pine cones instead of cactus.
After a spectacular morning and a wonderful day, we finished off with this baby! Literally, we almost finished this.

Start Of Our Happily Ever After

Well, we are finally married.  As part of our initiation into newly-wed life, we have started a blog, obviously. Since we are now living in the far land of Galveston, we thought this would be a wonderful way to let our family and friends stay in touch with our lives. For our first post, we will recap everything that has happened in our lives in the past few weeks...which has been a lot :)

First: We graduated from BYU...at the same time. Couldn't have planned that better!

Second: We got married and promised to love each other forever, which won't be hard
Third: We moved to Galveston Island, Texas

Fourth: We went on a cruise
Sean was very excited for the cruise
Fifth: We started to make Galveston our home

I broke our can opener on first use...we had to use a fork to pry this corn open

Concentrated face while inventing a chicken recipe....Next Chopped Champion?

What the Galveston humidity does to my hair...Sean says he likes it.

Sometimes we stay in our PJ's till noon watching "The Magic School Bus." It's very educational.

I walked into our apt. from a RS activity and found this waiting for me. Best. Husband. Ever.

Nothing like crickets on YouTube and roasting mallows over an open...electric stove.

Guitar in the park :)

Guitar in the park turned into a concert for the seagulls

Sean the Mechanic fixing our car... unfortunately it's still broken

Hunting for shells on the beach...all of the good shells were already taken. I wanted to keep it.  Sean said no.
One of the many Galveston cemeteries

The stork...he followed us for some time and we thought he was bringing us a baby, but the pregnancy test said no. haha

Play Ball!
